Go Green Project at L'Anse Creuse Helps More Than Just Environment
The L'Anse Creuse Public Schools have developed and implemented many service-learning projects over the years. During that time they have worked hard to standardize their projects by partnering with organizations/businesses in the community, utilizing their student's voices while planning, and reflecting on their efforts once projects are completed. TvTB pilot programs in Michigan, Indiana and Illinois have been a huge success. Our goal includes coordinating and implementing 1000+ FREE* 1-Day Computer and Electronics Recycling Events in 17 states in the midwest, southeast and southern U.S.
These areas are particularly vulnerable, as most state and local governments have failed to enact legislation banning e-waste disposal in local waste landfills and incinerators.
How it works.
Our 1-day e-waste recycling collection events are executed by a well-trained team - all you need do is: - Locate an event collection event in your area
- Load up your e-waste into your vehicle
- Our recycle team will unload your old equipment – you don’t even need to get out the car!
- Drive home knowing you have done your part in helping to clean up the environment!
(*Due to the cost of recycling lead-based glass fees may apply to recycle TV's and CRT monitors. Check the event info for details. Limit of 2 TV’s 19” or larger.)
